John D. Preston, Psy.D., is Professor Emeritus with Alliant International University, Sacramento and formerly on the faculty of UC Davis School of Medicine. Dr. Preston is the author of twenty-one books addressing psychotherapy, neurobiology and psychopharmacology, including Clinical Psychopharmacology Made Ridiculously Simple, Depression 101, You Can Beat Depression, and The Complete Idiot’s Guide To Managing Your Moods.

C. Scott Mahan, M.D. currently practices infectious diseases at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. He is an Assistant Professor in Medicine at Case Western Reserve University; Director of the Cuyahoga County Tuberculosis Program; and TB Consultant for the Ohio Department of Health. In addition to clinical and teaching responsibilities at MetroHealth Medical Center, Dr. Mahan remains active in HIV/TB research through his affiliation with the TB Research Unit at Case Western. He has authored several articles on HIV and TB immunology in peer reviewed journals and he has played an active role in editing the recent editions of Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple.
